A natural extension
This is what we look after once the solution is live
A steady frame around what comes after delivery: named contacts who know your solution, and response times in writing.
-
Maintenance
We keep the solution healthy while the world around it changes. Libraries, integrations and platforms are updated, so things keep working without you having to think about it.
-
Support
When you need help, you reach a person who knows your setup, not a ticket in a queue. We answer quickly and take what is urgent for you first. And along the way you hear what we know, what we do not know yet, and when you will hear from us again.
-
Security
Security updates and monitoring come with it, so the solution stays safe to use, day after day.
-
Ongoing improvements
We keep an eye on how the solution is used and suggest improvements when they create value for you. You decide what happens. We only recommend what we would prioritise ourselves.
Our promise
We look after the solution, so you can look after the business.
In daily operation
What everyday work looks like
The concrete operation depends on the solution and the agreed service. But there are things you can always count on when we have the responsibility.
-
You know who you are talking to
Clear roles and named contacts. The people you reach know your solution and the history behind it.
-
Changes are agreed in advance
We assess what a change means for functionality, time and price before it is set in motion. No surprises afterwards.
-
Backup and recovery
When it is part of the agreement, relevant data is backed up, and we have decided how the solution is restored after an incident.
-
We look ahead
We flag technical debt, dependencies and security risks before they grow into urgent problems.
And if something does go wrong, you are not left alone. There is always a contingency plan ready, and we react, keep you informed and help you onwards until the cause has been found and the risk reduced.
Ownership
You decide the way forward
-
You are never tied to us
We do not do lock-in. A service agreement is an offer, not a string we tie you with. You own your solution and your data, and we want to keep you because the work is good, not because you cannot get away.
-
Would you rather run it? We hand over properly
If you want to run operations yourselves, the handover is done properly. The solution and the important decisions are documented along the way, so others can understand and develop it further. We pass on code, data, access and documentation and help your people or your next supplier get properly started.
The collaboration in practice
Solutions we still look after
Delivery does not end when the solution goes live: these solutions are running today and are still being developed.
Frequently asked questions
Is a service agreement required?
No. A service agreement is an offer, not a requirement. Most choose it because it is reassuring to have named people who know the solution, but you decide whether it is right for you.
What does a service agreement typically cover?
Maintenance, security updates, monitoring, support and ongoing improvements. We put the agreement together for your solution, so you pay for what makes sense rather than for a fixed package.
What does a service agreement cost?
It depends on what the solution is, and how much you want to handle yourselves. If we have to answer quickly, we use a rule of thumb: operations and maintenance cost around 20 % a year of what the solution cost to build.
That is a starting point, not a price. We build tailored solutions, and the make-up varies a great deal, so the right number only appears once the solution is scoped and we know the details. Then we estimate the agreement together with you, and it can be both smaller and larger. We would rather tell you the level now than let it turn up on an invoice later.
Can we run operations ourselves?
Yes. If you would rather run it yourselves, we hand over code, data, access and documentation properly and help you or another supplier get started. You are never tied to us.
What happens if something breaks?
You reach a named contact who knows your setup, and we get to work straight away. What is urgent for you comes first, without you having to queue.
Shall we take the first step?
- A reply from one of us by the next business day.
- A no-obligation review of your situation.
- Clarity on which options are relevant to you.
- A concrete plan, if you choose to go ahead.
