We want to work where the work is
When does it make sense?
- Your users are in the field, in the shop or on the road, not at a desk.
- The job has to reach a handheld scanner or a label printer, or keep running in the background.
- You want to give customers or colleagues something they have at hand every day.
What it is about
The phone is the only desk they have
An app is a tool the user carries in her pocket: it opens with one tap, knows her in advance and closes the job right where it is done. It is not a website wrapped up again. The choice depends on how quickly she has to get in, and how little that may depend on the connection.
- Why it gets used
The app sits on the phone home screen and opens with one tap, with no login and no hunting for the right link. It knows who the user is, so she sees her own jobs straight away instead of having to find them.
- What it changes in the field
The registration happens out at the job, not on a note that has to be typed in once the van is home. The office sees the work the same day it was done, even when the coverage dropped out along the way.
- When a web solution is enough
A web solution can use the camera and the map today, and work without coverage, so that alone does not decide it. The app wins when it has to open without a login, know the user in advance, and answer just as quickly on a poor connection as on a good one.
An app that gets opened now and then never becomes a habit. It has to do what cannot wait until you are back at the office, and pull the rest from what you already have.
The expensive part comes later
Building an app is rarely the expensive part. Keeping it alive year after year is.

How we start, without you committing to anything big
- Step 1
Clarification meeting
A short conversation about the idea, and what we make of it at first glance. Free, and it commits you to nothing.

Digital pre-project
We work out whether the task needs an app at all, or whether something simpler will do. You get a concrete proposal with the numbers behind it, and if the idea does not hold, we say so. A fixed price, offset against the first stage if you build on within 90 days.

Development in stages
We build in stages at a fixed price and take what pays for itself fastest first. After that, operation and support from people who know the solution.

You can stop after each step, without the effort being wasted.

We settle the exact scope together
What yours has to do is something we work out in the pre-project. An idea like this one usually contains some of the following.
-
Works without coverage
Registrations are stored on the phone and sync the moment the connection is back.
-
iOS and Android
Built from one codebase where that makes sense, so you are not paying for two apps.
-
Only what gets used
The features your users genuinely reach for, not everything at once.

Run the numbers
Two questions you can put a number on right now
- App, web app or module? Camera, maps and working without a signal are what settle the format, so put the task through those requirements before you decide on an app. Try the calculator
- Does the idea stack up financially? When the money turns, what has to sit in the account until it does, and an honest estimate before you spend anything on development. Only one of eight outcomes says: build now. Try the calculator

Other ideas
Take inspiration from the others
These ideas come up most often in the same conversations. Sometimes it turns out that one of them is what solves the problem.
- We want to digitise a workflow A manual process that eats time and produces errors can often become something the system handles on its own. See how we approach it
- We want to build an internal system When spreadsheets and workarounds no longer stretch, a system built for you can hold it all in one place. See how we approach it
- We want to build a digital product An idea for something new you want to sell or offer digitally. We help you find out whether it holds up before you build it. See how we approach it
We help with many kinds of ideas, from a single workflow to a whole digital product.
