Our systems do not talk to each other

Double work and manual keying eat hours every week, and the errors that slip through are ones you hear about from the customer first.

Sound familiar?

  • The same information has to be maintained in several places
  • Numbers and statuses do not match from one system to the next
  • Important decisions are made on data that is out of date

What this is about

Corrected in one place, still wrong in another

An integration means that the systems share the same information, so a correction in one place also applies in the others. Without one, each system keeps its own version, and no piece of information has been given an owner the others follow.

  1. Why they drift apart

You bought each system for its own job, and each of them was left to keep its own figures. Nobody has since decided which system owns the price, the stock figure and the customer address.

  2. What wrong data costs

You promise a delivery date based on stock that has not been updated, and the customer spots the mistake before you do. Decisions get made on figures nobody quite trusts, so everything is checked one extra time first.

  3. When you need an overview

The figures can be identical in every system and still be hard to find. Then what you are missing is an overview rather than an integration, and a figure that was already wrong when it was keyed in only travels faster once the systems are connected.

Nobody has to change system. We point to one system as the owner of each piece of information and let the others fetch it from there, so nobody has to remember to correct the same thing twice.

Start at the source

An overview is only worth acting on if the numbers behind it hold.

The safe route

How we start, without you committing to anything big

  1. Step 1

    Clarification meeting

A short conversation about where there is most to gain, and what it is worth. Free and without obligation.

  2. Step 2

    Digital pre-project

We follow your data from where it appears to where it is used and map out where it gets re-keyed. You get a concrete recommendation with numbers behind it, and if it does not pay off, we say so. A fixed price that is offset against the first stage if you build on within 90 days.

  3. Step 3

    Development in stages

We build in stages at a fixed price and take whatever pays for itself fastest first. After that, operation and support from the people who know the solution.

You can stop after each step without the effort being wasted.

What the solution usually consists of

We decide exactly what is needed together

Exactly what it takes, we work out together in the pre-project. A challenge like this one we usually solve with one or more of these approaches.

  • Digital advice Strategic use of technology and support for your processes, so you get overview, control and better insight into your own data. It is part of most projects.
  • Integration Connecting your systems so they share data instead of being keyed in separately.
