Our people in the field cannot use our systems

The registration only happens once the driver or fitter is back, and then somebody has to put it right afterwards.

Sound familiar?

  • The system needs quiet, a screen and a connection
  • The registration only happens once you are back
  • Somebody at the office puts right what is missing

What this is about

The paperwork waits until the van is home

Mobile registration means the job can be closed on the phone right where it is done, even with no coverage. The work happens out at the address while the system sits back at the office, and between the two there is a drive. So the day gets written down somewhere else first and keyed in afterwards.

  1. Why the system gets skipped

People in the field are happy to use technology. They just use it outside your system, in text messages, in the camera roll and on a notepad, because the system was drawn for a PC and a large screen.

  2. What the tidying up costs

The office keys it in, corrects it and chases what is missing, often through several hands. If your goods carry traceability requirements, a record written from memory will not hold the day a customer or an authority asks.

  3. When the work happens at a screen

If your people are at a screen when the job comes up, there is no mobile problem to solve. Then it is about the form itself and about having fewer fields, not about moving it onto a phone.

The new tool must not become one more thing to log into. It has to be manageable with a thumb, in a few minutes, in a van.

Before we build anything

Hours are easy to feel and hard to count. We count them first.

The safe route

How we start, without you committing to anything big

  1. Step 1

    Clarification meeting

A short conversation about where there is most to gain, and what it is worth. Free and without obligation.

  2. Step 2

    Digital pre-project

We follow a job from being done at the customer to being registered in your own systems. You get a concrete recommendation with numbers behind it, and if it does not pay off, we say so. A fixed price that is offset against the first stage if you build on within 90 days.

  3. Step 3

    Development in stages

We build in stages at a fixed price and take whatever pays for itself fastest first. After that, operation and support from the people who know the solution.

You can stop after each step without the effort being wasted.

What the solution usually consists of

We decide exactly what is needed together

Exactly what it takes, we work out together in the pre-project. A challenge like this one we usually solve with one or more of these approaches.

  • Digital advice Strategic use of technology and support for your processes, so you get overview, control and better insight into your own data. It is part of most projects.
  • Mobile apps An app for customers or staff, so the job can be done from a phone, also out in the field.
  • Integration Connecting your systems so they share data instead of being keyed in separately.
