Customers cannot order, find or book for themselves
Sound familiar?
- Customers call to place orders during office hours
- Orders wait until the next morning
- Repeat orders that should have been certain do not arrive
What this is about
The order waits for you to open
Self-service for business customers means the customer can place her order on her own item numbers and her own agreed price, whenever it suits her. Today every order needs somebody at your end to be at work.
- Why the purchase is put off
Ordering has to happen in office hours, while the customer often prepares the purchase in the evening. If there is no button at that moment, the order sits and waits until tomorrow.
- What it costs in orders
It is rarely the large negotiated agreements you lose this way. It is the repeat orders from the standing range, and they appear on no list when they fail to arrive.
- When a webshop is not enough
A catalogue without the customer's own item numbers, agreed prices and reorder history does not do the job. And if the purchase has to be configured, the buyer will still want a salesperson involved, however good the portal is.
Self-service sells while you are closed. It does not have to be the whole range from day one: if customers can reorder what they already buy, the largest part of the lost orders is already recovered.
Seen from the customer’s side
Your customers cannot see your systems. They can only feel how long it takes.
The safe route
How we start, without you committing to anything big
- Step 1
Clarification meeting
A short conversation about where there is most to gain, and what it is worth. Free and without obligation.
- Step 2
Digital pre-project
We look at how your customers buy today, and where the easy orders fall away. You get a concrete recommendation with numbers behind it, and if it does not pay off, we say so. A fixed price that is offset against the first stage if you build on within 90 days.
- Step 3
Development in stages
We build in stages at a fixed price and take whatever pays for itself fastest first. After that, operation and support from the people who know the solution.
You can stop after each step without the effort being wasted.
What the solution usually consists of
We decide exactly what is needed together
Exactly what it takes, we work out together in the pre-project. A challenge like this one we usually solve with one or more of these approaches.
- Digital advice Strategic use of technology and support for your processes, so you get overview, control and better insight into your own data. It is part of most projects.
- Self-service Giving customers or colleagues a portal or app where they find answers and act for themselves.
- Mobile apps An app for customers or staff, so the job can be done from a phone, also out in the field.

These often go together
Solve one and these tend to turn up alongside it. See how we approach them.
- Time & waste We spend too much time on support and the phone The same questions about price, stock and status tie up expensive hours on the phone. See what can be done
- Growth & scaling We want to sell more to the customers we already have The repeat order and the obvious upsell are sitting there waiting, but nothing reminds the customer to buy again. See what can be done
- Time & waste Our people in the field cannot use our systems The registration only happens once the driver or fitter is back, and then somebody has to put it right afterwards. See what can be done
We work with many different challenges, and they hang together more often than you would think.
