Why this route
When the idea has to be seen before anyone can say yes
An idea is easier to decide on when you can click on it. The prototype makes new ideas possible to judge before anything real is built: you see the flow, the people approving the budget see the same thing, and what needs changing gets changed while changing is still cheap.
It fits when there is an idea for a digital product, a customer portal or an app, and the next step depends on whether others can picture it. If the aim is to save time in a workflow that already exists, the workshop or the pre-project is usually the better route.

Three things set the price: the number of screens, how many journeys it covers, and whether it runs on your real data. The clickable one is the cheapest; real data costs more, because it has to be built properly.

What it asks of you
That we agree the scope first. A prototype without an agreed boundary is a project without an end.
